I hope this does not offend, but I am using these chants as a very effective means of improving my ability to read Hebrew. Would translations be available? That way, I'd feel less guilty about using them as a reading aid. Very, very pleasant renditions. Thank you. Reply

Slow versions of prayers Thank gou for these sing alongs with text. Do these exist in much slower versions? My grandfather was a chazan who sang slow and with all of his soul. He taught me what holy was just through is prayers/ singing. I would love to follow his footsteps as a chazanit as I have slowly been feeling this come through since his passing. Until I find find his recordings, can sonsone offer insight as to where to find slow versions of these prayers? Thank you. ♡ Reply

Tune of Ashrei The tune actually comes from the Litvish tune for Anim Zemiros. This prayer only appears in Nusach Ashkenaz, while chabad uses Nusach HoAri, a version of Nusach Sefard. Reply
